In the second quarter of 2024, the Android platform saw varied performance among top personal finance apps in the US. Data from Sensor Tower provides a closer look at these trends.

Splitwise showed a notable increase in downloads, peaking at 818K in early June before stabilizing at 754K towards the end of the quarter. Weekly active users fluctuated, reaching a high of 6.2M in late May. Revenue trends were dynamic, with a mid-quarter spike to $263K and closing the quarter at a strong $222K.

YNAB observed more modest download numbers, maintaining a range between 14K and 18K, with slight dips to as low as 3K. Active users showed resilience, hovering around the 160s but dipping to 148K in early May.
